Membership

The Medicine Hat Golf & Country Club is south-eastern Alberta's Premier Golf and Country Club experience. Our tranquil and friendly environment provides a refuge from everyday concerns. We are a place where you can relax with family and friends, or where you can entertain your most valuable customers. Our golf course offers a challenging and rewarding experience to golfers of all skill and experience levels.

2013 Membership Fees

Shareholders
Single Adult (No Restrictions) $1,570.00
Single Adult (Monday - Friday excluding Stat holidays) $1,230.00

Non-Shareholders

Single Adult (No Restrictions) $1,770.00

Single Adult (Monday - Friday excluding Holidays) $1,430.00

Note: All active adult members (both shareholder and non-shareholder must pay the annual capital levy of $120.00 plus GST.

Intermediate Adult (ages 26-30) $1,095.00

No share required / no annual capital levy / no tee time restrictions

Young Adult (ages 19-25) $ 895.00

No share required / no annual capital levy / no tee time restrictions

Family Memberships

1 Adult paid (parent / guardian) / 1 Junior - No Charge

2 Adult paid (parent / guardian) / up to 3 juniors - No Charge

Junior Memberships

Junior Member (8 -12) - $185.00
Junior Member (13 – 15) - $250.00
Junior Member (16 – 18) - $315.00

Membership Categories

Single Adult – being 18 years or older, full use of all club facilities, no restriction on tee times and can vote at all Shareholder’s meetings as well as hold office on the Board of Directors. Limit is set at 360 members for 2012

Restricted Adult - being 18 years or older, full use of all club facilities, restricted to Monday to Friday excluding Statutory Holidays. Can play on weekends but must pay green fee rates. A Shareholder has voting rights and can hold office. Limit is set at 150 members for 2012

Intermediate Adult - For members aged 26-30 years of age. Their membership fee is approximately 70% of a full member and they do not pay the annual capital levy. No share purchase is required and there are no tee time retrictions.

Young Adult - for members 19-25 years of age. Their membership fee is approximately 60% of a full member and they do not pay the annual capital levy. No share purchase is necessary and there are no tee time restrictions.

Junior – children between the age of 8 & 18. Juniors can book tee times on weekdays before 4:30 p.m. and after 6:30 p.m. Juniors can play on weekends and holidays after 3:00 p.m. by calling anytime after 7 p.m. on Wednesday of each week to confirm a tee time. As per MHG &CC policy – on weekends and holidays, if accompanied by an adult/parent, a junior can play after 10:00 a.m.

Side Notes:
At their discretion, the Board of Directors may appoint other types of memberships. The following are the categories in place for 2012. (note: as of the 2006 golf season Adult and Restricted Adult Members must have a share).

Junior Memberships:
1. A copy of I.D. showing date of birth is required for Junior categories when registering.
2. A copy of Full-time Student I.D. and D.O.B. I.D. is required for Student category.
3. Voluntary Hole-in-One Insurance - $25.
4. Shares are mandatory for Adult and Restricted memberships.
5. Club storage is thru office $180.00. All Prices add GST.
